Queen Sized Gift

I know this is a little late, but last night we finally got that Christmas gift we have been waiting for!

It’s a bed!!

It’s a miracle!

And definitely worth not exchanging gifts for in 2010.

The last bed I had was a $99 futon from Wal-Mart that was so cheap I had to hold it up with paint cans!

The bed we have been sleeping on for the past 5 years was his that he had since his freshman year of high school.

That’s 10 years ago!!

We upgraded from a FULL to a QUEEN and this Sealy Pillow Top set for $378 at our wholesale club.

The sheets are wrinkled and don’t match so well . . .

  • I’d be excited about a new bed too!! I needed a new bed, but totally couldnt afford it so my parents bought me a memory foam mattress topper. Made all the difference!

I also got really excited when my mom got me a new orthopedic pillow. Yah – Im 150 years old.

      LOL!

I think we can all agree that anything we get excited about with the phrase “pedic” in it makes us old!!

      How are those pillows BTW?

  • I almost said a bed! (Something about how excited you two were with the King in your hotel room.)

Oh man I’m ready for a new bed. When the husband and were married we used some wedding money to buy a new queen mattress (the one we had been using was his mom’s and I hoped my husband wasn’t conceived on it.)

The mattress stinks though and we’re going to be upgrading eventually. (I’ll probably be just as excited and blog about it too when that happens.)

I knew you secretly knew the answer!! :D

Hahaha I really hope your husband wasnt concieved on your mattress either!!

I really hated my old bed because I thought about all the awkward teenage years he had with it . . . GROSS!!
