Strong Legs

I’ll have you know that I did end up cleaning the shower last night!  The past 2 days have been full of energy.  I hope I can keep it up for 14 more days.

Today was my last half Friday for a while.  When I woke up I definitely wasn’t hungry and its usually then where I say “eh, I can hold of with a few snacks” then I get ravenous hunger within the hour and all falls to hell.

I didn’t have time for overnight oats so I brought some cereal with a little almond milk instead.

When I got to work, I realized that I forgot a spoon!  I ended up just drinking the almond milk and crunching on the cereal until it was finished.

I also brought other things to crunch on.

The only thing that was fully finished was the apple and a cute little piece of biscotti.

The plan after work was to head out shopping with my sister.  We both needed black work pants (mine seriously disappeared).

We had lunch at Panera Bread and both got a half sandwich and salad.  The turkey sandwich was nothing to write home about so I didn’t finish it . . . the greek salad and crunchy piece of bread on the other hand was devoured.

I was unsuccessful in getting anything so after I dropped my sister off, I hit up Bed Bath & Beyond for some coffee.  I had my heart set of Half-Caff again, but this won me over.

I also went to Old Navy where I tried on more pants.  Seriously, I have no idea what size I am anymore.  My “strong” legs make it so hard to fit in a lot of things comfortably. There always too tight in the thighs and too loose in the waist and if I get them bigger they are too long! I tried on things that fit in a size 8 but were too tight in a 10 . . . and vice versa.  More proof that sizes mean jack!

 

I also wanted to see if the Bermuda shorts craze was something I could pull off . . .

Nope!  “Strong” legs strike again!

 

I’ll find what I need eventually . . . just wasn’t in the cards today!

 

When I got home, I worked on my latest food creation.  Well its not technically my creation, but I’m very excited about it.  I hope its good so I can share the recipe.

Unfortunately I wont find out until Chris gets home from basketball.  GRRRR

 

Other then that, we may see a movie tonight.  Can’t stay out too late though . . . work calls!

 

Do you get frustrated shopping for clothes with the whole size issue?

      I hate to admit it, but I think it’s the seaweed drink.

      I went a week without it because it wasn’t ordered in time and the past 2 days I’ve had it back.

      You want to try it for a week? I’m sure you could use more energy!
