Screen Time
Still no sleep last night. Lots of thunderstorms in the area! For some reason I cant shake the feeling that creepy night creatures lurk in my house only when the power goes out. Anyone else?
This morning I woke up and had such a blogger breakfast.
The GF cornbread I made last night in 100 degree weather wasn’t that great warm out of the oven. I froze the batch and warmed one up this morning and it was much better! I topped it with some almond butter and half a banana.
Who the F am I to eat half a banana?! I just couldn’t stomach the whole thing. I don’t even know myself anymore . . .
I was excited to wear my new white cardigan from target.
Its cold in the office, even though its soupy outside so I always need some sort of layering and this works. Plus you can put them over a t-shirt and still look semi-professional. And no, its not already dirty . . . but my mirror is. However, I plan to wear this sucker out until it turns yellow. That’s probably already happening in the pits though . . .
I didn’t eat anything at work but came home craving a monstrous breakfast sandwich for some reason. Its been a while. Last night I bought some Applegate farms turkey bacon so I went to town making a sandwich using some brown rice bread.
It was ok except the bread was so dense that I probably only should of used one slice and forked and knifed the rest. Lesson learned . . .
Another lesson I’m trying to learn is to stay away from the computer/ipad screen! Seriously I feel like I have been on an electronic device for 2 days straight. My one eye is seriously twitching and its making my sight feel way off. Im going to sign off from business/blog related tasks for the rest of the day and put my nerd specs on.
Tonight I’m meeting up with Ashley for dinner/drinks and a much needed catch-up. Then tomorrow I have the whole day off to galavant!
Do you feel all weird when you spend too much time in front of a computer/phone/ipad/whatever screen?

I always toast my gluten free bread, I don’t like the texture when its normal (too dry for me).
I spend way too much time in front of a screen. I probably the only time not in front of a screen is when I’m asleep and I get annoyed at myself the second (or third/fourth/fifth) time I grab my iphone to check my e-mail, facebook, or twitter.
Ugh. Need to have technology blackouts where I turn everything off and force myself to read a book or look at my husband instead.
I probably spend too much time in front of the computer between 8 hours at work, my blogging, writing and reading stuff online, but I don’t think the screen time itself bothers me, but I feel off if I don’t get outside enough or connect with something real. I think I wrote a post about this one, connecting with real things.
And I hope your eye stops twitching. I always feel like a cartoon character when that happens to me.
