Cranky Pants

Wow . . .

I am in such a horrible/emotional mood today Freezing

I’m guessing its partly because its hormonal.

Partly because one of our patients passed away.

Partly because we have yet to have a good nights sleep in our new bed. We both slept a total of 3 hours last night!

And partly because of yesterdays post

I realize now that although I may not be going on a diet, I am still using some sort of plan to shy away from other things.  Weight loss is NOT my goal.  Being healthy is my goal and I need to focus on whatever it takes to get me there in all aspects.  Changing the way my body looks wont fix anything.

I need to seriously relax later which means cancelling plans to go to a Kinect party tonight.  I’ll be better for it.

Its days like these that I need to rely on those little special things to get me through.

Special things like . . .

This milk frother

061

I wanted to get one of these for a while, but when I saw them for $10 at BB&B I passed it up.  That’s too expensive for my allowance.

Then I heard about how Allie got one for $1.99 at IKEA.

Coincidentally, Caroline was taking a trip there (its far from us) and offered to pick one up for me.

I’m glad she did because now my morning coffee makes me even more happy than it used to.

I heat up my 2 tbsp of Half & Half in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Then start frothing! 056

Add your coffee when its at your perfect foamy consistency and enjoy the special Smile

Thank goodness for the little things!!

What do you do to get yourself out of a Cranky Pants mood?

Queen Sized Gift

I know this is a little late, but last night we finally got that Christmas gift we have been waiting for!

It’s a bed!!

It’s a miracle!

And definitely worth not exchanging gifts for in 2010.

The last bed I had was a $99 futon from Wal-Mart that was so cheap I had to hold it up with paint cans!

The bed we have been sleeping on for the past 5 years was his that he had since his freshman year of high school.

That’s 10 years ago!!

We upgraded from a FULL to a QUEEN and this Sealy Pillow Top set for $378 at our wholesale club.

The sheets are wrinkled and don’t match so well . . .
